Kailyn Berry signs to Long Beach State University

Howard College sophomore forward Kailyn Berry is taking her talents to the next level, signing with Long Beach State University to continue her academic and athletic career.
A 6’0 forward from Edmond, Oklahoma, KB made a strong impact during her time with the Howard Hawks Women’s Basketball program. Known for her work ethic and team-first mentality, she developed into a key contributor over the past two seasons.
 
“I’m excited to be joining the CSULB women’s basketball team, and I’m very grateful to my coaches and teammates here at Howard College this wouldn’t be possible without their support and encouragement,” KB said.
 
Head Coach Al Davis praised KB's growth and dedication throughout her time in the program.
 
“I am excited to see KB move on to the next level,” Davis said. “She is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached and such a great kid and teammate. We will miss her a lot and I am blessed that I was able to coach her for two years. She will do great things at Long Beach State University.”
