The third quarter ultimately put the Lady Hawks down as the visitors added 19 points to Howard's 13. The final frame saw an evenly match offense with both teams putting up 14 but eventually ending in a 7-point loss for Howard College.

Makayla Ellison had 16 points at 6-16 from the field, 2-7 from the three and 2-4 from the line with eight rebounds, one assist and two steals.
