Bio
Jeremy Abraham enters his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Howard College.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Abraham has built a reputation as an energetic coach with a passion for player development, relationship-building, and building championship-caliber programs both on and off the court.
Abraham began his collegiate coaching career at New Mexico Junior College, where he helped guide the program to a 44-19 record over two seasons while assisting in the development of numerous student-athletes who advanced to NCAA Division I basketball.
He later served as a Graduate Assistant at Coastal Carolina University, helping the program compile an 18-8 record and reach the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) Championship Game.
At the high school level, Abraham served as the head coach at Warren High School, where he revitalized the program by increasing its win total, developing a young roster into a competitive team, and enhancing the basketball program through facility improvements, including a renovated locker room and an in-gym weight room.
He also spent time as the head assistant coach at Hardin-Jefferson High School, helping lead the program to a playoff appearance.
Most recently, Abraham was the lead assistant coach at Dallas Christian College, where the team closed the regular season by winning eight of its final nine conference games, earned a second-place conference finish, and advanced to the conference tournament semifinals.
Abraham is the son of Mathews and Sunitha Abraham and has two sisters, Melissa and Emily.
