Jimmy Dionne Earns All-American Honors

Howard College's Jimmy Dionne Named NJCAA Division I Second Team All-American

Howard College standout Jimmy Dionne has been named to the NJCAA Division I All-America Second Team, earning national recognition after a stellar sophomore season with the Hawks. The honor was announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Rawlings Sporting Goods, in partnership with the NJCAA national office, as part of the 2025 All-America Team selections across Divisions I, II, and III.

Dionne, a sophomore first baseman, was a consistent force in the middle of the Howard College lineup all season long. Appearing in 52 games, he put together a remarkable offensive campaign that turned heads across the country. He racked up:

• 78 hits in 193 at-bats, good for a .404 batting average

• 21 doubles, 2 triples, and 22 home runs

• 79 RBIs and 52 runs scored

• .449 on-base percentage and a jaw-dropping .876 slugging percentage

Whether he was driving in runs or getting on base, Dionne's production was a key factor in the Hawks' success throughout the 2025 season. His blend of power and consistency made him one of the most dangerous hitters in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) and now one of the most decorated players in the nation.

This All-American selection caps off an impressive two-year career for Dionne at Howard College, where he established himself as a team leader and a cornerstone of the Hawks' offense. Congratulations Jimmy and best of luck in the future!
