Landry Moore comes to the Hawks Softball program from Corpus Christi, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees while playing softball and working as a coach.

Most recently, Moore was the head coach of two competitive softball teams and the Assistant Director of Softball Operations at the largest baseball and softball facility in South Texas.

At the same time, while earning her Master’s degree from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, Moore worked under the school’s Director of External Operations assisting with the game day operations. In March 2011, she led a group of students on an international marketing campaign to Lisbon, Portugal for the Portuguese vs. Slovakia Davis Cup.

Moore was a catcher for the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islanders for 2008-2010 seasons, and helped the team make the Southland Conference Tournament for the first time in school history. She maintained a .394 batting average while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Sport management in three years. 

Prior to her time with the Islanders, Moore played one year at Tennessee Tech University. During her time she was awarded the National Fast pitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar Athlete title as well as the Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
